Four "Spooky" Stars

This was a spooky atmospheric story!

A small taste of what is inside:

A woman (Maggie Holt) learns she is an owner of mansion that she inherits after her father passes away, but what she doesn't know is that is contains "spooks" and not only that, but she is not a believer of ghosts. She soon becomes a believer.

That is about all I can give on a taste as you will need to read my review on Goodreads.

Thoughts:

This story had lots of creepy vibes to it and kept me entranced with the haunting in the mansion. The haunting is told two different ways with the first way being told from a book that was written by her father on the mansion haunting and the second way is from Maggie's point of view. The chapters throughout the book alternate between the two pov's so that the story of the haunting could be grasped with a clear understanding of what had taken place to what Maggie was experiencing.

Personally I would have rather stayed in the story of the father as that is where all the creepiness seeps in on the haunting. I didn't mind reading about Maggie's story and what she had to go through, but the chills and thrills lies within the father's story as that is where I felt most spooked.
