The House at the End of the Lane
Thoughts:
My first time discovering this author was actually last year as her books kept popping up across my feeds on Facebook and Goodreads. I had grabbed the books last year and finally read the first two books this year. Definitely a "wow" goes in here as I loved both books and I am planning on reading the rest of the books in the series and whatever else she has coming in the future. I have all her books simmering on my kindle.

Under the Wicked Moon
Thoughts:
I had been seeing this author's books just popping up here and there on Bookbub so I decided to check this book out "Under the Wicked Moon" and wow I was impressed how quick I was pulled into the storyline. Loved this book so much that I now have a few more of his books simmering on my kindle.

Forgotten Island
Thoughts:
The book "Forgotten Island" was actually recommended to me by a friend and so I checked it out and was impressed how quick I was pulled into the storyline. This book kept my insomnia fueled a few nights. I actually had already sampled this author's writing as we had a featured author read for an anthology he appeared in from KJK Publishing so I was already familiar with his writing style. So grabbing this book was a no brainer for me and now I have a few more that I need to read by him on my kindle.

Dream Weaver
Thoughts:
First time reading this author actually this year though I have owned some other books by him for awhile that are unread. I saw this book "Dream Weaver" pop up over on facebook from friends and the creepy cover just drew me in - I had to grab it so I grabbed it! Loved the story and all the creepiness weaved within. Now I am actually reading a book he co-wrote with Tamara Thorne - I have been spending some time in the book The Ghosts of Ravencrest for the last week or so. Really enjoying it and I am hoping to step into more of his work in the future as I need to read the other books I have by him on my kindle.

Blood Séance
Thoughts:
I came across this author from a popup on Goodreads as I had been reading something else and this book, Blood Séance came up as a comparison. The storyline sounded good so I grabbed it and checked it out. I was pleasantly surprised with the writing style and the book ended up being a great story. I have noticed that the author has a couple more books that I need to step into at some point.

Spindel
Thoughts:
One of my people that I had been following for awhile on Goodreads started writing books and wow - was I impressed when I read Mia's book Spindel then her book Estate Sale. Both books are excellent and I love Mia's writing style so much that I have more of her books on my kindle that I need to read at some point.

Books Read:
Suicide Lake
Thoughts:
I came across this series of books on another one of those book comparisons as the book All Hallow's Eve popped up and the book cover looked really creepy so I checked it out. What a surprise I received when I started reading the book as it grabbed me right away and whisked me back to some historical horror times. I was so impressed with the first book in the series that I had to grab the second book "Suicide Lake" which was almost as good as the first book. I still need to read the rest of the series and I do own book three - just need to get back into the series at some point.

Child's Play
Thoughts:
I have owned this book, Child's Play for years and just now stepping into the storyline. Though this is a kindle edition - the book cover looked familiar to me - I think I had seen the paperback version at a used book store that I use to frequent years ago. I probably should have picked up the book then but didn't. Either way the story was spooky and the flow of the book stayed at a balanced pace. I have noticed that the author has a few other spooky books out there to read which I need to pursue in the future.
FANTASY AUTHORS

Boliver's Sword (The Weapon Taker's Saga #2)
Thoughts:
This author popped up within one of my subscribed platforms that advertise books on sale and/or free and this series popped up back in January of this year. I checked out the storyline of all the books and just grabbed all four of them! I started reading the first book back in May of this year and wow I was impressed with the story telling along with how fast I was drawn into this fantasy world the author created. I have since read book two last month and I am now reading book three. Love this series and looking forward to reading more books by this author.

The Bygone Dagger
Thoughts:
This book, The Bygone Dagger, was recommended to me by a friend and I am always on the lookout for some cool fantasy books. The friend and I buddy read the book a couple of months ago and wow I was blown away by the story telling and writing style of the author. Looking forward to reading the rest of this series as there seems to be quite a few books to delve into at some point.
