Thoughts:
My first time seeing this author's work was scrolling through Amazon in the horror section and I had grabbed his book "Love Wanes" (still need to read that one yet though) but then I picked up his book "Carnivore" and read that one. All I can say is "Wow" as that book kept me on the edge of my seat, but then he just released the book "Combustion" and I gobbled that one up too as that took me on one of hell of a ride! I have a few more to read by this author and will try to get to them soon.

Baker's Dozen Anthology (Candace Nola's story: County Contest)
Thoughts:
With this author she was referred to me by an author friend and they thought I would be interested in checking out her work, so I read her book Breach and then grabbed her book Baker's Dozen which is an anthology with different authors. Both books were really good and since then I own a couple or so more by this author. I just purchased her book "Bishop" over the weekend as I want to check it out hopefully next month. Looking forward to reading more of her work in the future.

Tales From the Parkland
Thoughts:
I came across this author over on Goodreads feeds as I had noticed a couple or so of my friends had read his book "Tales from the Parkland" and it looked interesting to me so I grabbed it. I was impressed with it and it is a book of short stories which I loved all of them. Looking forward to reading more books by him in the future.

Preternatural
Thoughts:
I had been seeing this book come across my feeds from Goodreads friends so I decided to check it out. This book has vampires in it and I really liked the book as it was a different type of vampire read filled with emotion, but it also has some "bite" to it as well - lol. There was quite a bit of blood and gore parts mixed throughout the book. At some point in the future I will be continuing on with the other two books as this book is the start of a trilogy and there are two more books out there.

Devil's Retribution
Thoughts:
My first time coming across this author was on Amazon as her book "Devil's Bait" popped up in my feed as I was looking for books that had to do with hauntings and that book seemed to be right up my alley so I grabbed it. I was not disappointed as it was a scary ride into the occult. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the book was in a series so I bought the rest of the series and just recently read the second book a couple or so months ago. I am planning on reading the rest of the series in the future.

This is another author that I have had his books simmering on my kindle for awhile and read his book "Terror Threads". The writing style just flowed along and just kept me suspended within the book! My first taste of this author's works were from reading the books by KJK Publishing as author, Andrew Lennon has stories found throughout the anthology books put out by KJK Publishing. With this author I have been seeing quite a few different books come across my Goodreads feeds which I have added to my tbr, but decided to step into his book "The Gift of Death" a gory vampire book that I just had to read. Loved the writing style of this author as I read that book fairly quickly and looking forward to reading the other books he has out there.

Thoughts:
I actually stepped into this author on the recommendation by a friend and wow I was so impressed that I added a few of this author's books to my kindle and have more that I can grab from the library as well. Both books "Mirror" and "Charnel House" were spooky and suspenseful. Both books kept me on the edge of my seat and I look forward to reading more of this author's books in the future.

Dead Man's Song
Thoughts:
This author's books have been coming across my Goodreads feeds for a few years now so I decided to step into the Pine Deep trilogy and so far have read the first two books. I need to read the third book yet which I am planning on doing sometime this year. The author wrote a zombie series too that I want to check out at some point as well. Looking forward to finish the Pine Deep trilogy as I really enjoyed books one and two.
