Thoughts:
I had been seeing this book, Seven Cleopatra Hill come across my Goodreads feed quite a bit so I decided to grab it and then I decided to reach out to the author for a featured author read of his book in one of my groups so that the members could read it as well. This book is definitely a spooky ride! I have quite a few more books by this author simmering on my kindle.

The Exorcist's House
Thoughts:
I had been seeing this book, The Exorcist's House all over the place - on facebook in the Books of Horror group and some of my friends were reading it on Goodreads. I had been wanting to read this book for awhile so along with my co-moderators we set up a buddy read for it in one of our groups. This book is scary! I had some sleepless nights reading this one and it spooked me out of my skin! I do own the other book by this author which is "Anathema". It is simmering on my kindle waiting to be read. :)

This book is a very short story but my goodness does it pack a bloody punch! I loved this book so much and it being a debut book was great! Looking forward to more books by this author!

The Bank of the River (The River #1)
Thoughts:
These two books took me on a haunting ride into the unknown. I need to continue the series of The River books though as I only read the one book. I do remember though that it has a comparison to the books and series of Supernatural but in this case the series is based on a father and son. The other book, The Haunting of Pitmon House was very spooky and I enjoyed staying spooked. I have a few more of this author on my kindle that I need to read yet.

I have seen this author loads over on Goodreads and when I say "loads" that is exactly what I mean as he is always popping up on my Goodreads feeds. I just need to read his books more as I do own a few of his works on my kindle and hopefully this coming year I can dive into a few of them. 😊

Within the Shadows
Thoughts:
With this author I had suggestions pop up over on Goodreads as I was reading another book and Goodreads gives a small box to the side with more book suggestions - this is where I came across this author. So I read Within the Shadows first and I was really impressed as the book was super creepy then I tracked down his other work. I read In the Dark next and enjoyed it as well. I need to read more of his books and I do have them simmering on my kindle. Next year I will need to go back to his work.
