Thanksgiving Day Massacre by Brian G. Berry

Five "Maniac Massacre" Blood Drops

Splatter Hits The Fan!

A small taste of what lies within:

The small town of White Hall thinks that it is safe from "stranger danger", but they get a nasty surprise when a man (Travis) wanders into their mist wearing a turkey mask and carrying a large knife. No one is safe from Travis as he carves a bloody trail through the town on Thanksgiving day.

Sheriff Harper and his deputies are put on alert when they find out that their citizens are being attacked by this man and they try to go after him themselves. The Sheriff even gets help from another Sheriff and his deputies from a small town not too far from White Hall as Travis had killed a bunch of towns people there as well.

The law enforcement men are not ready though to deal with what they see when they arrive at the houses of their friends and neighbors as what they see lying before them will be forever etched into their brains as Travis has gone on a spree of blood, gore, and terror!

Who is this man Travis? Where did he come from? Why is he laying waste to the townspeople? What is his motive? Does anyone come out alive? No spoilers here as you will need to read the book!

Thoughts:

This was my second reread of this story and once again I was thrown back into the bloodbath of wading through this author's mind! This book has so much blood and gore lying within the pages that it is a wonder my kindle wasn't leaking red goo - actually dripping red goo would be a better phrase! lol

I will give you an idea of how bloody this book is: take Jason from Friday the 13th, Michael Myers from Halloween, Ghost Face from Scream, and Jigsaw from Saw then put all of them together in one room with the towns people in this story and that is what you would have if you stepped into this book!

This book is a tribute to those 80's slasher movies and if this book was a movie the whole movie screen would be swimming red! So if you want some blood and gore for your Thanksgiving dinner then look no further than this book. Word of warning: it is best to bring your gore suit - actually you might need four to five gore suits. So if you are in the mood of wading through blood and gore then go buy this book and step into the mind of Brian G. Berry!
