Ski Lodge Terror!
A taste of what lies within:
The Devereaux brothers are back (Tim and Scott) and this time they are on the hunt for a Bigfoot creature. Emma (from book one Devil's Bait) is back as well as Scott and her hook up as they try to come to terms with what had happened a couple of years before at Emma's house.
Tim and Scott are hot on the trail of the creature as it wrecks havoc at the ski lodge as the creature not only wants to make life miserable for the brothers but it also wants to kill the guests at the ski lodge. The more they try to hunt it down the more it seems to elude them, but they are determined to track it to hell and back before it causes any more terror at the ski lodge!
Where did the creature come from? Why is it causing trouble for them at the ski lodge? Do the brothers take it out before it can kill again?
No spoilers here as you will need to read the book!
Thoughts:
This story is a mix with creature feature and there is some romance as well within the pages as the characters, Scott and Emma become involved with each other. There is tons of creature action though with some blood and gore spread around the pages of the book too which required my gore suit as I had to wade through some icky goo here and there within the book.
The story keeps pace well and has some mystery that surrounds the creature. There are quite a few characters within these pages as they are the guests of the ski lodge so a few of them are likable and a few are not so much.
Looking forward to the next adventure by the Devereaux brothers to see what they become involved in next.
